Dance of the Muses Completed around plans of Fourth Symphony’s World Premiere

by | Mar 5, 2020

Di Vittorio recently completed his Ballo delle Muse (Dance of the Muses) for violin and orchestra, a work derived from the first movement of his new Sinfonia N. 4 “Metamorfosi” (Symphony No. 4 “Metamorphoses”) which was recently recorded in an album of his orchestral works for Naxos Records. The Ballo is a lively, spagnola-type waltz with a playful and festive, gypsy-like violin solo and serves also as a showcase piece promoting the full length symphony. Plans are now underway for the world premiere of Di Vittorio’s Fourth Symphony. More soon!
