Maestro Salvatore Di Vittorio will conduct the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia on March 26 and March 27, 2017 in evenings of “The Italian Baroque”. The concert will include the world premiere of Di Vittorio’s Ode Corelliana based on the music of Arcangelo Corelli and his Christmas Concerto, and Di Vittorio’s critical edition of Respighi’s Suite for strings.
Gwyn Roberts, recorder, joins Di Vittorio on two of Vivaldi’s piccolo concerti, as well as Vivaldi’s Sinfonia Al Santo Sepulcro and Corelli’s Concerto Grosso No. 4.
