Makes conducting debut with Palermo’s Philharmonic – Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana on November 23 & 24, 2012 at Teatro Politeama Garibaldi, with World Premiere of Sinfonia No. 3 “Templi di Sicilia”. European premieres were given of Di Vittorio’s Overtura Respighiana and his completion of Respighi’s Concerto per Violino in La Maggiore. The program also included Di Vittorio’s critical edition of Respighi’s Aria for strings and ended with Fontane di Roma. Rave reviews were published in several newspapers including La Repubblica (Rome) and Il Giornale di Sicilia, and the story was featured on RAI TV evening news among others.
